Our products are made with minimally processed natural fats, so slight separation may occur — gently stirring will restore texture. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Is this safe for acne, eczema or sensitive skin?
Yes. Tallow mimics human sebum, balancing oil without clogging pores. It's naturally anti-inflammatory and free from synthetic irritants—ideal for acne, eczema, and sensitive skin.
How will this affect my face's pH?
Tallow-based creams are naturally pH-balanced and compatible with skin's slightly acidic barrier (around 5.5), unlike many commercial products that disrupt skin pH.
Can I wear makeup over this?
Yes, allow a minute or two for the cream to absorb fully, then apply makeup as usual. It creates a smooth, hydrated base without greasiness.
How long will a jar last?
Our 1.7oz face cream typically lasts 4-6 weeks with daily use on face only. Since it doesn't contain synthetic preservatives, we recommend using within 2-3 months of opening.
How is this made?
Our unscented, original face cream formula is super simple: grass-fed tallow, cold-pressed jojoba oil, and virgin unrefined shea butter. Our scented variations add essential oils.

- Set up double boiler
- Melt tallow and shea butter
